Battlefield 2142 ist noch nicht einmal auf dem Mark und schon bringt Publisher Electronic Arts schon einen kleinen Patch heraus. Dieser Patch mit der Versions Kennung 1.01 ist für die Vollversion gedacht, die am kommenden Donnerstag in allen Regalen stehen wird. Der Patch dient zur Beseitigung eines Performanceproblems (Absturz des Clients im Titanmodus) und ist rund 18 MB groß.

Battlefield 2142 will notify you at the login screen if there is a newer version of BF2142 out. EA Downloader will then start if you have it installed. We are doing everything possible to ensure the best experience for BF2142’s first patch and appreciate your understanding.\"
